Reboot Your Life Diet
The Reboot Your Life diet has both fans and skeptics. The program comes on the heels of Joe Cross’ 60 day juice fast, where he lost 100 pounds. Cross documented it all in a movie, “Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead.”
Now those who want to take what Cross learned on the road and bring it inot their own homes can do so with the Reboot Your Life website and it’s associated juice cleansing and juice fasting plans.
With the Reboot Your Life program, you take an assessment of your current health, weight, commitment level and goals and a program is recommended for you. You’re given a week to prepare for your program and then you receive emails each day with a full meal plan for the day ahead. It didn’t work for me, because I’d get the messages in the morning and often wouldn’t have the specific ingredients for the juice recipes on hand. Thankfully, I’ve got a bunch of great juice cleanse books on hand (here are my top 3) to find a substitute.
Reboot juice fasting might not be juice fasting at all, in that you may be given a program that includes eating fresh fruits and vegetables in the raw, depending on your answers to the initial quiz. For this reason, it has received some criticism for not being “pure” to juce fasting.
That being said, I think it’s a good thing when the barriers to entry are lowered for better health. I’d much rather see folks eating more fruits and vegetables over not making any changes to their diets at all, right?!
Aside from the encouraging daily emails (with the recipes that weren’t a good fit for me), the Reboot Your Life program has a massive community supporting each other, which can be helpful to newbie juicers just getting started.

This sounds like the perfect solution for me I am a 47 year old female that is now a diabetic with cardiac problems just released from the hospital 2 weeks ago with three new stents placed (1)right main coronary artery and (2) left iliac artery and (3) left main femoral artery. I am moderately obese I used to be a body builder so most say I’ve got a muscular build for my weight I am 5ft 3in and weigh 190, my cardiologists says I need to lose down to 140 and change my diet drastically or I may not see 50. I enjoy raw fruits and vegetables tremendously but don’t have to the time during work to sit and eat properly so I believe juicing is the perfect way for me to achieve my goals. Thanks
